Practical Clinical GerodontologyThis webinar will provide an overview of the dental management of older patients from a clinical viewpoint. The topics to be covered include prevention, caries management and tooth replacement.
A particular focus will be on functionally orientated treatment planning including the application of the shortened dental arch concept when treating older patients with missing natural teeth. These topics will be addressed from a practical clinical stance but with a strong focus on evidence based care. This webinar will be relevant to all members of the dental team as gerodontology requires a multidisciplinary approach.
The objective is to give practical clinical approaches to managing older patients in dental practice as well as the community or hospital environment.
